Moi drodzy,
przede wszystkim dziękuję z całego serca za liczne gratulacje. Odebraniem dyplomu zakończyłam kilkuletni okres przygotowania pracy doktorskiej i nagrania płyty, która stała się jego tematem. Była to przygoda, chwilami trudna ale zawsze fascynująca. Jeszcze raz chcę podziękować mojej pani promotor, dr hab. Alicji Gronau-Osińskiej, która tę przygodę uczyniła możliwą i udzielała mi wsparcia w zmaganiach z materią. Gdyby nie jej wiedza, życzliwość i przede wszystkim cierpliwość, na pewno nie udałoby mi się dobrnąć do mety.
Myślę, że czas oddać innym choć odrobinę tego, czego się nauczyłam. Zatem od przyszłego tygodnia postaram się publikować regularnie krótkie posty na temat tanga i jego historii. Mam nadzieję, że przyczynię się w ten sposób choć odrobinę do uzupełnienia informacji o tym pięknym zjawisku, choć z przyczyn oczywistych będę koncentrować się głównie na jego aspektach muzycznych.
Zacznę od neotanga, czyli okresu nam współczesnego. Dajcie mi znać co myślicie o tym pomyśle i jakie tematy interesowałyby Was najbardziej w przyszłości. Cała pierwsza część mojej pracy jest poświęcona historii tanga, więc na pewno kilka interesujących rzeczy się znajdzie. W miarę możliwości będę spełniać prośby.

First of all I would like to thank you sincerely for all your kind congratulations. Receiving my diploma has ended the period spanning several years during which I wrote my PhD thesis and recorded the album, which became the main topic of my dissertation. It was an adventure, sometimes difficult, but always fascinating. Once again I would like to thank my promoter, Dr Hab. Alicja Gronau-Osińska, who made this adventure possible and gave me her support through the difficulties. If it had not been for her knowledge, kindness and above all patience, I would definitely not have been able to complete this project.
I think it is now time to share with others some of the benefits of what I have learned. Starting from next week therefore, I will try to publish short posts about tango and its history on a regular basis. I hope that in this way I will contribute at least a little to spreading knowledge of this beautiful phenomenon, although for obvious reasons I will focus mainly on its musical aspects.
I will start with the neotango, i.e. the modern period. Please, let me know what you think about this idea and which other topics would interest you most in the future. I will do my best to comply with your requests. The whole first part of my thesis is devoted to the history of tango, so I have access to a great deal of interesting information.
